First of all, I would only try this on my oldest girl, as it involves a bit of pulling and tugging and a lot of sitting still. Secondly, you can’t do any roly polies, or have siblings who pull your hair, can’t crawl under anything and your head can’t really touch anything. So really, it’s a no no for young children.

It was about 20 minutes effort for a life time of 5 minutes! This braid looks great in pictures, and probably works well on an older child or an adult, but don’t waste your efforts on a 6-year-old!
